Polti Forzaspira AG130 Window Vacuum Cleaner, Effective, if expensive, window cleaning

Streak free window cleaning. . This is simplicity itself to set up and takes just a few hours to charge. Finally i can achieve streak free window cleaning.I would suggest keeping the box it comes in so you can keep all the attachments together safely.

It actually makes cleaning the windows fun. I have always wanted one of these (and also a pressure washer. ) and, given the chance to test one for free i leapt at it with gleewindow cleaning, in it’s traditional form, is not great fun. The cleaning itself is fine but the endless drying, checking for smears, redrying, getting sore arms. This product achieves the remarkable feat of actually making window cleaning fun.It comes in two main components, the first is a simple spray bottle with a wide cleaner head (rewashable) that you screw on after filling it up (i found a mixture of window cleaner and hot water worked best), then you just spray and wipe until it’s clean.

Polti Forzaspira AG130 Window Vacuum Cleaner, 5 W

  • Rechargeable, cordless window vacuum cleaner
  • Cleans windows, mirrors, glass and flat surfaces – leaving no streaks
  • Includes 170mm and 280mm suction nozzels and spray bottle with microfiber cloth
  • Cleans vertical and horizontal surfaces in all directions without leaking
  • Cleans 80m2 of window area per charge

I like gadgets and especially ones that same time and this seems to fit the bill. Really worked well on the windows was fun to do (if you can call it that) and the battery lasts for what seems to be a long time – let me do a number of windows anyway without recharging. Can’t really fault it and at sub £100 if you want clean windows you could do worth than give this a go.

Really strong suction on this oneyou have to clean the window with the separate spray gun and swiffer so i took one star away as i was expecting it to be all in one like the vax was but still i am very impressed with the vacuum on this and like how small and light it is. I managed not only to clean in and out windows but also the car rear window which always gets dirty between car washes. I have a conservatory and this is great gir doing large expanses of glass as with its powerful suction you don’t have to bother rinding and wiping then rinsing.

I am one of those people who cannot clean a window and be free of streaks. . Until now :-)the vacuum cleaner charges very quickly indeed. It’s not heavy to use or difficult to handle. One cleans the window with the spray and wipe tool, then run the vacuum cleaner down the glass to draw off any moisture. There are two different sized squeegee blades to fit various windows. This has made life a lot easier and cheaper. Going for the second use, i found it was out of charge, so luckily it is a fast recharge. Will need to do the windows around the house in stages and not one blitz.

Polti Forzaspira AG130 Window Vacuum Cleaner, 5 W : This little gadget is brilliant and makes cleaning windows much faster. I went around my conservatory with the squirter bottle in one hand and the vac in the other. Spray the windows and clean with the soft cleaning cloth which is attached to the spray bottle and then take off with the squeegee attached to the vacuum cleaner and its instantly dry and streak free. I don’t like cleaning windows and usually put it off but this makes the job easy and quick.

Initial test proved that the cleaner worked ok and should be an asset removing condensation from windows. But why is it supplied with a continental plug, which has to be put into a shaver socket to charge?.

Decent product but very expensive vs karcher and the vs the sum of it’s parts. The popularity of these window vacuum cleaners had not passed me by but given the prices for some of them i’ve not taken the plunge until the kind offer to try this came through. The polti is basic and easy to assemble, the instructions amount to 2 pages, you clean your windows with a damp cloth or the included microfibre item and then use the polti as a squeegee blade and the unit vacuums up the water that would otherwise run down the window. The results are good and the product keeps as a good charge and performs well, but i don’t feel i can recommend this product at the current price of £79, particularly when a karcher equivalent is (karcher wv2) is half the price and has over 300 5 star reviews. Also when you look at the technology for the price you are essentially buying a rather asthmatic dustbuster motor with a squeegee and a water tank, and it just doesn’t represent value for money, after all for the same price you can presently buy a vax 3 in 1. The price should come down in time but i wouldn’t recommend as value for money until half the current price at least.

Effective, if expensive, window cleaning. The polti forzaspira window-cleaning system consists of two devices: a spray bottle with a window cleaning blade covered in terrycloth, and the vacuum itself, with two interchangeable blades based on the size of the area being cleaned. You fill the spray bottle with water and a drop of window cleaning liquid, this dampens the cloth-covered blade on top of the bottle which is then used to clean the window. You then use the vacuum to suck up the dirty water. I was a bit skeptical – so many products over the years have promised streak-free windows – but after a test run i must admit i was impressed; there were no noticeable streaks left behind. The vacuum is great, just one pass leaves the window surface dry and steak-free. It’s actually pretty shocking to see the colour of the dirty water captured in the vacuum afterwards. The unit is easy to assemble and pretty quick to charge. My only real quibble is the price – it’s quite a lot to pay versus a chamois, even taking into account the better results. However, if the cost isn’t an issue for you, i would certainly recommend this easy and efficient way to keep your windows sparkling.

I hate cleaning the windows, but with 2 young sons who love pressing their faces and fingers across any glass surface in the house, it’s a constant, necessary evil. This makes an annoying job much easier – you give the window a wipe using the spray bottle and a cloth, then fire up the vacuum – it clears the water off quickly and easily, and with far less streaking than other options.

I don’t think anyone *enjoys* window cleaning, but it can be quite satisfying to finally dislodge a splatter of seagull graffiti on your bedroom window. What isn’t satisfying is trying to avoid leaving smears of dirty or detergent filled water all over the window. This window vacuum is designed to suck up the excess water, leaving a clear, streak-free surface. The forzaspira comes in two parts: a window cleaner with a fibre cloth and a reusable spray bottle; and the vacuum itself, which comes with large and small rubber wipers. Putting the vacuum together is fairly simple when following the instruction manual. I was irritated that the picture for assembly was printed on only one page right at the start of the manual, rather than each language section having a diagram. It saves a bit of paper, i suppose, but it felt weird having to flip back to the start whenever i wanted to refer to the diagram. The vacuum took less than 3hrs to charge fully, and i haven’t had to charge it again yet after cleaning four large windows, a large mirror, and a shower divider. Using it is easy: clean the window as you would normally, then drag the vacuum over the surface, allowing it to inhale the excess water.

Useful cleaning tool, bit pricey though. I must admit after seeing the price of this item i had my doubts about value but having used it i think it will prove to be really valuable for us in the long run. Having fibromyalgia and arthritis lots of general household jobs end up causing a lot of pain and can take forever so products like this really make a big difference. It’s a hand held device and it doesn’t cause undue pressure on the joints to use. Not as heavy as expected and we’re impressed with the results. Its ideal for not just the home windows but mirrors and car windshields toohopefully it will be a long lasting product as it seems well made and if you’re paying nigh on £80 it really ought to be.

I ordered this out of curiousity. The lack of mess, streaks and ease of use are impressive. I’m still not totally convinced its a major life changer, as i feel a wee bit conspicuous using it, but hey.

Starting using this today on the car windows and i must say it brings them up a treat. It’s very handy if you don’t wanna take your car to valet. The microfibre cloth really helps remove smudges from the windows. You get a nice amount of time from a full charge and it’s very easy to set up and use.

I’ve always hated cleaning windows, mirrors, anything really that involve “that” motion, the one that gives me a repetitive strain injury if i do it for more than a few minutes. As a result my windows on the inside have always been rather an embarrassment. I’ve got someone to do the outside but don’t really like the idea of having him doing the inside too, besides he often comes when i’m out. The polti forzaspira ag130 of course. For the first time in my life, cleaning windows is actually rather fun. I started one evening and in the morning i could see why window cleaners only come during daylight hours. Yes, i’d missed a bit (two or three bits actually) but it still looked pretty good considering i’d done my whole conservatory, even the roof. First time out, you need to charge it up, 2-3 hours sees you ready to start having fun. This is a two part operation. You have a water bottle with a soft cloth attached which acts as the cleaner (i added a proprietary window cleaning fluid to the water as they were so very dirty). Start at the top, as the drips run down, and clean away. It doesn’t take too much effort. What is normally the hardest part, requiring all the elbow grease (and resultant pain in my case) is the drying and polishing to revoke all smears and leave a clean glass any pigeon could be forgiven for flying straight into.

This window vac from polti arrived on a day when my windows were looking particularly dirty. The sun was shining and highlighting the fact that the poor old panes of glass had been neglected to the elements and subject to dust and rain. I can take a hint when it’s given so felt obliged to make the most of the new gadget, eventually cleaning every window in the house both inside and out. I’m not sure whether i was more impressed with my own stamina or the new window vac, but it certainly helped make the job quicker and a lot less tiring on the arms. In fact it’s probably fair to say that without the help of the polti i probably wouldn’t have bothered doing all of the windows, and would have given up sooner. It is easy to use, charges up in around 2. 5 hours and this particular version also comes complete with two swappable blades – a larger one for bigger panes, and a smaller one which is handy for smaller spaces. It also has a spray gun with built-in microfibre blade in the pack, and the idea is that you spray a light cleaning solution onto the window and give it a quick swish with the blade. Then all you need to do is go over it once with the vacuum blade and admire the gleaming panel that’s left behind.
